Why Get Coached?

Believers are called to live exceedingly and abundantly in life and ministry. 1st Timothy 4:12 says to “…set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” Coaching provides a blueprint to assess, develop and increase these vital areas. The third person, unbiased perspective and direct approach from your coach will assist in decreasing unforeseen circumstances and receive expert counsel, direction and support.

How Does it Work?

Your coaching begins with spiritual acumen assessments, an introduction to coaching mechanisms and a hour session with your coach. You will discuss goals, your current experiences, concerns and identify realistic objectives for your experience. Additionally, you will have access to onsite opportunities to supplement your one-one-coaching.

Kairos (Ancient Greek: καιρός) is an Ancient Greek word meaning the right, critical, or opportune moment. The ancient Greeks had two words for time: chronos (χρόνος) and kairos. The former refers to chronological or sequential time, while the latter signifies a proper or opportune time for action.

Gal. 4:4-But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law….

Its imperative for each ministry to discover and Identify how whats always been done, is relative to what God is now calling us to do, in this Kairos setting (current ministry).

Isaiah 43:18- Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old, behold I shall do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth… v.19- Shall ye not know it.

If we aren’t careful, we will miss what God is doing, while we reminisce about what God has done.

Moses could NOT get the children of Israel to the promise land because while they had freedom of choice, their hearts were bound to a former place. The were walking, but headed nowhere. Old systems and irrelevant systems had to die, before the children could obtain the promise.

When talking about change… many ministries make the mistake of discussing needs for something different, but abandon stability that was developed in the old systems. We may embrace doing new things, but we need steady hands to keep us stable as we slowly transition to developing mechanisms that can be sustained Long Term. Kairos assists in doing that.
